In order to create a new post and not have your writing only end up as a comment under another post, you must first register and log into the site. I cannot make you an author until you go to the site and register. In order to register, you must be invited. Once someone is invited, registers, and has logged in, they are automatically able to post a comment. If I have already invited you via email, post a comment, I will see it and can then adjust your permissions from contributor to author.

The best thing to do is to email me, tell me what you think, leave your name, and ask any questions. If you have registered, I only have to take your email address, plug it into a text box, and you will become an author. Getting an email makes it easy so I just copy and paste instead of searching for your information. Chapter Advisor Haney has now become an editor so he can monitor the site and edit as necessary in addition to posting his blog entries.

Remember this site can only be reached by giving the site address to others. At this point, I don’t think we want anyone in the world to do a Google search and see our personal comments. Maybe later!

If people want to write here, I need their email addresses from them, you, or anyone. Please send an email to all the Rho Rho brothers that you can and cc: it to me (kimballs@hermon.net). I can then take that list of emails and spend some time inviting all of them. Honestly, as of 3/22, I haven’t even found the time to inform/invite fellow Rho Rho brothers in my email address book. I used Brother Haney’s list to begin this process.

I intend to make all Rho Rho brothers authors, so drop me an email or leave a comment and I will make you an author to submit your own thoughts for all to see so you won’t end up just a comment. Remember, if you are responding directly to an existing post, you should put the comment there, but if it is something fresh/new, write a new post.

Take charge brothers! We need active brothers to post announcements and news here. We need alumni to do the same. Make sure you click on the appropriate category before you publish your article. You can simply “save” (without clicking “Publish” if you are not done your writing and come back to it anytime, anywhere as the blog will save it for you. Cool stuff and so good for learning and sharing.

Let me know your thoughts. I will try to put my email address in the area with the links and do the same for Advisor Haney when I figure it out and if he gives me permission.

Blog on Brothers, blog on!!
